Definition
The Student Center Facilitator reports directly to the Secondary Dean and is responsible for managing the high school Student Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Student Center Facilitator is an integral part of the school and is responsible for managing the high school Student Center, keeping it clean, neat, and organized along with assisting students with questions and/or needs. A professional, yet pleasant demeanor is necessary for this position along with the ability to multitask.
- Develop and/or maintain a collegiate-type atmosphere.
- Support students as they research, study, and complete assignments.
- Uses computer databases or filing systems to update records as necessary and/or directed.
- Organize and follow through with special projects/events.
- Work with Google (forms, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Maintain copiers and printers
- Handle confidential student information and records in a responsible manner.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a variety of people.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and is capable of managing time efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong writing and editing abilities are needed along with managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
